How do we make the circular plastics economy work?

The recent Danish circularity gap report shed a pessimistic light on the progress made towards a circular economy. For plastics, achieving circularity requires novel and systemic solutions across the value chain: a rethinking of materials, products, technologies, supply chains, consumer behavior, business models, etc.

AAU Circular Plastics is being launched as a cross-disciplinary platform for boosting synergies across AAU and fostering collaboration between academia and the industry to better identify such novel and systemic solutions.
